Garia Sathi is a Registered Society under Social Registration Act XXVI of 1961 and also is registered under Government of West Bengal, Office of the Commissioner, for Persons with Disabilities under section 52(2) & (4) Act 95 Reg.No 257/com/(2007), Registered Act U/S 12AA of the I.T.Act 1961, Registered Act U/S 80G(5)(vi) of the I.T.Act 1961.Donations are exempted from Income Tax, as per the applicable regulations in India.

Garia Sathi is eligible to accept foreign contributions under the FCRA act. All contributions from non-Indian entities have to be made directly to the designated bank account (given below) as required by the Government of India.
